Musiliu Haruna Ishola
Musiliu Haruna Ishola is a prominent Nigerian musician known for his contributions to the Apala music genre, a tradition he inherited from his father, the legendary Alhaji Haruna Ishola-Bello. Born in Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State, he began his music career in 1983 and has since released over 30 albums, including the hit Soyoyo. ### Early Life and Background
- Musiliu Haruna Ishola is the son of the late Alhaji Haruna Ishola-Bello, a renowned figure in Apala music.
- He hails from a family with a rich musical heritage, being the fourth generation of Apala musicians.
- Musiliu attended Ade Cole Memorial Nursery and Primary School and later Ijebu Ode Grammar School for his education.

- He officially began his music career on December 9, 1983, shortly after his father’s passing.
- Musiliu’s father had redefined the genre, renaming it from ‘ewele’ music to Apala, which became a significant part of Musiliu’s identity as an artist.
- He faced initial skepticism from family and friends regarding his choice to pursue music, but he remained committed to upholding his father’s legacy.
Abass Akande Obesere

Abass Akande Obesere, popularly known as Omo Rapala, is a celebrated Nigerian Fuji musician and record producer born on January 20, 1965, in Ibadan, Oyo State. He is renowned for his unique musical style and has made significant contributions to the Fuji music genre, gaining a large following throughout his career. ### Early Life and Background
- Abass Akande Obesere was born into a family with a rich cultural heritage in Ibadan, the largest city in Western Nigeria.
- He developed an interest in music at a young age, influenced by the vibrant musical environment of his hometown.
Musical Career
- Obesere began his music career in the late 1980s and quickly gained recognition for his energetic performances and distinctive sound.
- He is known for blending traditional Fuji music with contemporary elements, making his style appealing to a broader audience.
- His stage name, Omo Rapala, reflects his unique approach to music, often incorporating playful lyrics and engaging rhythms.
